guanziling, an area famous for its mud hot springs, also has one other treasure: a rare spring that releases methane gas, which burns when it hits the air. the fire has been burning consistently for the last three centuries.
That's amazing! Never heard of it. I'd love to see this.

@Daroru: It's nice to see, but when I read about it, I was given this impression that it was this big cave you entered and there was this pond in the middle of the cave that was on fire. Well... it looks more like a little pond that you might have in your yard - somewhat a bit man made looking (probably from the tourism). It's unfortunate, but if you're in the area, it's still a nice place to go to.
