forest bath

alishan forest in the pouring rain. we decided to take a hike regardless of the rain - its the rainy season in taiwan, so you must just deal with it and go. the tall trees provide some shelter from the rain. unlike at the bottom of the mountain, where temperatures are 90+ and very humid, the top of the mountain is very mild. it reminds me of autumn in new york.
