marshmallows!

homemade marshmallows are pretty nice and easy to make as long as you have an electric mixer (otherwise you might be beating for a long, long time).

3 envelopes of Knox gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cups corn syrup
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
