you'll need to sift confectioners' sugar on the top half of the cookie and spread jam on the bottom half (i use raspberry). then just place together and enjoy :) best if put together right before serving because the jam will make the cookies soggy and they taste best when crisp.
These turned out beautiful and enticing. They make for a wonderful photo op. I like the pattern and colors.
